- I have always loved movies, but I remember the very moment I became seriously interested in film. I was maybe a freshmen or a sophomore in high school when I saw Elia Kazan's breathtaking...
- it´s sounds dire waynex... yet i find myself compelled to see it, if for no other reason than Dr. Higgins can´t decide whether or not it´s a "good" movie or a "bad" movie.
- a tiresome movie for sure. who cares about men and guns again and again the same fixation. depp is a great filmstar impersonating a gangster. Even the other way round this is still a tiresome...
- Take your time and enjoy this wonderful moment. We all wish you and your new wife a lifetime of love and happiness and we'll all be waiting here when you get back.
- Despair not. For I shall bar his every attempt and spare no effort in saving the man I love from the evil forces set upon our destruction and that $8.50 for a movie that I would rather see!

Not that I can watch 'kiley's' video comment of course cause I'm stuck here in outside the Nathan's Hot Dog Emporium at the Ft. Lauderdale Airport on my way to a Central American Isthmus! (I promise I'll watch it when I touch down!) :)

Gareth's gotta watch it so he can address your point re: the racism of GWTW. You brought up a valid point and I didn't press him on it re: was the film racist or depicting a time of open and unapologetic racist culture - I suspect he'll say both - we shall see!

Also, I've always thought 3-D to be a hokey technology...I took my girls to scenic Chattanooga, TN this weekend and we saw "Dolphins & Whales" at the IMAX in 3-D...I felt like I was cross-eyed half the time while watching it. Maybe JTTCOTE has better technology. I loved the Prof. Dr's review of the movie....

While I agree that Jett is unquestionably a podcasting virtuoso, I think it might be a bit preemptive to apply the title Maestro. Im not sure that greatness has to be equated with a title or nickname (cf. MacGuyver, Mr. T). All I'm saying is that we may be moving a bit fast; perhaps we should slow things down, wed best not force a nickname or title before its time.

When you say Central American, do you mean central United States (because we consider ourselves the only "America"), or do you mean Central America by what the rest of the world calls Central America?

+ I appreciate of course what you're saying re: the 'Professor Doctor' - still a man's gotta know his limitations and I'm not sure that I'm at 'Maestro' status just yet!

Much to the consternation of my collegues who think I'm nuts.
But they're all drunk on mango rum drinks at 10 in the morning.

Was merely responding to Jett's preference to defer any oceanic activities in favor of responding to the Dear Listeners here on TFT.
It is not my intent to divert the conversation away from the topic of this podcast, only to reaffirm the Former Maestro's committment to the Listener.
