I wonder if W. will be as good as Z and M?

If it's as good as this:

    I'll be satisfied.

Hey, what about Thandie Newton as Rice - she really looks the part!

What is Stone's motive here? Is he banging a final nail in the coffin? Wouldn't this movie have served a better purpose before the last election? (Mind you Moore's film didn't affect the outcome.) Or maybe Stone thinks that a Bush biopic makes the perfect Friday night entertainment. I guess Bush's term in office could be played as a black comedy.

At some level Stone feels he understands Bush - I doubt the film will be a real negative portrayal - perhaps best viewed as a tragedy in which a hell raising ne'er do well is promoted above his abilities - we shall see.

Oliver Stone will probably portray George W as the third shooter of JFK.

As an open note to Oliver Stone: Isn't it customary for a president to be dead before making a movie on them? Do you know something the rest of us don't?

Oliver Stone seems to be a guy with a pretty large ego - (have you seen Alexander - I mean c'mon), so it's not surprising that he's not even waiting for Bush to be out of office. :)

Josh Brolin did a convincing Dubya, though he reminded me a lot of his cowboy character from No Country for Old Men... over all, i don't doubt that 'W.' will have the effect Oliver Stone desired
